Our Student Life Fundraisers

Solar Car Team

A determined student-led team, Western Sydney University’s Solar Car team are currently the reigning American Solar Champions. In 2019 they designed, built, and raced the world's lightest solar car.

The team is passionate about renewable energy, innovation, sustainable transport and pushing the boundaries of engineering.

EAT. SLEEP. SOLAR CAR. REPEAT. This is the Solar Car team at Western.

Your support will ensure they’ll be ready to win the 2023 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge!

Student Assistance Fund

The Student Assistance Fund was established in early 2020 as the world locked down due to COVID 19. Donations were received from across the community as our domestic and onshore international students faced financial strain.

Please join us on Giving Day in support of students maintaining their studies through this unprecedented crisis.

The impact of your generosity will be doubled, as the University matches all donations to this fund.

Student Clubs

With over 130 Student Clubs to choose from, Western Sydney University students have the opportunity for a vibrant social life both on and off campus.

Student-formed and student-led, Student Clubs are an important social connection for students.

Providing opportunities to connect with other students who share their interests- both in-person and online- Student Clubs are a great way for our students to meet new people and make life-long friends.

This Giving Day, be a sport and donate to Student Clubs at Western Sydney University.
